Home buying can be stressful, but the right representation can keep it a time to be excited.

6 Major Steps to Ownership

Choosing a Realtor and a Mortgage Professional

This might be the most important step. Having a professional that knows the market and knows how to mesh it with your goals can make all the difference. I hope that you’ll give me the chance to show you what a great realtor can do.

If you’re needing to get pre-approved, I can’t recommend enough Tiffani Queneau at Move Mortgage.

The Hunt

The fun part! Using the information from your pre-approval, I can put you on a search based on the type of home, bedrooms, bathrooms, and area that suits your needs. All of my searches are done using the Multiple Listing Service that lets you see properties before they are available to the general public.

Offer and Acceptance

This is my speciality. Once we found a property that you can’t live without, we will put together an offer on it. Knowledge of the market and ability to connect with the listing agent can make this process a breeze.

Inspection

An Inspector is an expert that is hired to go over every detail objectively and report to the buyer any and all issues with the property. This will give you assurance that the house is what you hoped it is.

If there are significant issues with the property, I am your teammate to either negotiate a remedy or help you back out of the deal.

Appraisal

An Appraiser is hired to come to the house to make sure the house is worth the price that the contract is for. A mortgage company will not finance a house for more than its worth.

If the appraisal does not match what the contract price is, I will negotiate a solution for you so that we can move on to the final step.

Closing

The magical day. We will meet at a title office, sign documents, and you become a homeowner!
